Guys,
My 4Runner is now on the market. I mentioned a few months back I was going to sell it. This weekend or next, I'm going to put it in the local paper. If that doesn't do the trick then it will be up on Ebay.
I want you guys to have 1st dibbs. To get to a FAIR price I took the average between KBB's retail and wholesale. Then I did the same for Nada. Then I looked at ebay for what the same model 4Runner's were selling for. I took those 3 numbers and averaged them together to get $13,800. I'm willing to sell it immediately to anyone on here for $13,250.
It is a 2000 model, V6 4X4 SR5, in millenium silver, WITH 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION! The only (somewhat) negative about the whole truck is that it has 97k miles.
It has -
- Clean rip-free interior of light blue fabric
- Clean damage-free exterior ... it has never had any repainting
- Oil & oil filter changed every 5k miles (book says to change every 7,500 miles)
- Air filter changed regularly
- Completely stock. Not one item has been removed, not one item has been added
- It has no hitch receiver, has never had one, and has never towed
- Rear area retractable tonneau cover
- 20+ mpg around town. When I gas it up, I put ~ 15 gallons in it and it has about 315 miles on the trip meter. On the interstate it will do 23+ running 70 to 75 with the A/C on
I will try to have pictures up tomorrow.
Now for a list of repairs this vehicle has seen- 1 RH brake light - THAT'S ALL!
This truck has seen 90% interstate miles. Believe it or not, the truck is on its original tires, original brakes, there is no imbalance shimmies/shakes nothing. It does not pull to either side. It has never been crashed. It has been the best vehicle I have ever owned, and maybe the best one I will have ever owned. The tires will go another few thousand miles no problem. My preference would be to go ahead and get new tires at 100k, just because. But I will not put tires on it before I sell it, because if I did, I would put some cheap-a$$ tires on there (just for selling) and that is not fair to the buyer. I would rather you put whatever tires you prefer on it. I WILL NOT make some reduction to the selling price based on the tires. The truck is priced FAIRLY.
The reason for selling
I now have my 3rd son, and 3 car seats in the 2nd row is a real PITA. As much as I hate to own one, its mini-van time.
:o
Ask all the question you want to. I'll respond as best I can, and thanks!
