22" eagle wheels with 285/40/22 Falken Tires
EDIT: THE WHEELS ARE NOW ON EBAY. Starting at $1499 NR.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMESE%3AIT
you can see more pics here
or here
The wheels are Eagle 026's, 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern, 14mm. offset, 5.761 backspacing
The tires are Falken STZ04's - 285/40/22
ASKING $1800 OBO! Selling the truck, the wheels must go!!!
The wheels were $1050 shipped and the tires mounted and balanced at discount tire were $1180. This puts the total cost to me at $2230. I have all original receipts. All purchased in late December 2005.
These tires and wheels are in absolute perfect condition, not a scratch on any of the wheels and the tires have roughly 1,000 miles on them.
Please reply or PM if interested with reasonable offers, shipping of course will be on you, unless you are near Atlanta, GA then pickup is fine.

wheels
If you can assure me that the ride will not be sacrificed, I will be interested. I live in Orlando, FL but happen to be driving to Atlanta on 02/10/2006 for a conference that I am attending in Alpharetta.
Let me know your final asking price and I can bring cash if we can work something out. I have to think about how I am going to get them home even if I do pick them up, for I will be traveling with 3 other people. Maybe renting a UHAUL trailer, what do you think?
Ok, keep me posted. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Whoa, why are you selling so soon? I didn't realize you lived so close to me either, I'm sure I would notice your 4Runner if I saw it driving around here. If only I had the money and didn't just buy a house, I'd probably be interested.

Jev- The ride honestly feels the same as it did before I had the wheels. The only difference I noticed was the first couple days that I had them the steering felt a little different. Maybe b/c the tires are wider or b/c the wheels are heavier??? I got used to it after a couple days. They seem just as quiet as stock tires/wheels, and not stiff like I thought they would be. The only real difference is that my 4runner has lost some of it's quickness, and when braking the extra weight does make a difference.
I think $1800 is a fair price as I am losing over $400 and these are almost brand new. Let me know. Feel free to call me at 404-432-3670
Derek - I actually went to KSU, graduated in '04. I am hardly ever in Kennesaw anymore except for maybe on a Friday or Sat night to go to Bailey's of Sidelines. I live in east Woodstock (I live like 1/2 mile from the Woodstock/Roswell line and I work in Duluth, so I usually am driving between the two. If you ever see me driving feel free to flag me down!
Htown - PM sent back - feel free to call me if you want to.

forgot to mention -- I am selling the wheels b/c of a new job, I am going to be selling my truck for something better on gas. Hate to see it go, but can't afford 14mpg any more.

I sold my '04 V6 for the same reason, but hated driving a small car with good gas mileage, so a year later I got my '05 V8, haha, so much for good gas mileage. :o
Oh and btw, I'm actually still going to KSU right now, I should be finished in less than a year thank god. I can't say I've seen your 4Runner around Barrett but I don't go up there as much as I used to because the traffic is pure hell.

Kip,
Did you have to lift your rig to fit those massive 22'' rims and 285 width tires? If not, how is your turning radius? Any rubbing? Thanks!

No lift needed. You can read razors post about these wheels:
http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showth...ighlight=22%2A
I think he had to trim a small piece of the inner fender plastic b/c he was getting a slight rub on one of the tires. I have no probs. I can turn the wheels all the way with no rubbing. A small spacer lift (if one exists) may help the truck look more level though as the front sits lower than the back from the factory.
PS - Wheels still avail. I have a couple offers right now but I am holding out for $1800... I think this is a fair price.
