5spd, 4WD, Rear Locker, V6 1997 Toyota 4runner SR5

i bought this 4runner about 2 years ago thinking i would be going 4wheeling, enjoying the outdoors and making more \trips up to the snow but hobbies and work has changed.

i really need a pick-up truck to haul around my motorcycle to and from the track.
i would be willing to trade my 4runner for toyota pick-up truck of equal or lesser value plus cash.
i am really looking for a 22RE 80s Toyota Truck 5speed with 4WD or something with a longbed and possible extra cab. would love a T100
if not, i'm selling it for $5000.00 OBO.

Has high mileage 219,xxx but isn't anything for a toyota.
the previous owner use to commute from south san francisco to mountain view daily. the mileage is all freeway mileage.
when i bought it, i believe it had about 203,XXX miles on it. i barely drive this as i'm normally on 2 wheels but it has never failed me when i had to.

i recently drove it on a long trip, went from daly city to elk grove to calistoga and back with no problems and averaging about 20-22 MPG.

this is a rare 4runner.
5 speed for this generation of 4runner is very hard to find.
4WD works great
and has a rear locking differential so only under the extremist conditions will you ever get stuck anywhere.

Do the research, this combo is rare.

Upgrades and additions i have done since i acquired the truck.
6000K HID Headlight System - Found on newer luxury cars. - no high beam but as bright as these lights are, you won't need them.
Vortex Exhaust - this makes the 4runner sound like a V8, i get compliments on it all the time. better than a flowmaster system.
Max Airflo Reusable Airfilter - just wash and reoil, never have to buy a new airfilter ever again.
Rear Cargo Cover - when i bought this from the previous owner, it did not have it.
Custom Open Element Airbox recloseable when offroading in wet conditions or during the rainy season. helped with gas mileage, i saw a increase of about 1-2 mpg combined with the exhaust system. also increased throttle response and acceleration power when needed.
have 2 extra matching alloy wheels for full size spares. no tires

It has a older panasonic tape player with aux/mp3 jack will include the cord great for ipods/mp3 player users
6 disk cd changer located under the driver seat.

CONs:
tires needed by next rain season should be good for maybe another 5,000 miles.
faded hood, faded roof
front disk brake should be resurfaced, vibrates a little during hard braking.
may need a major tune up but runs fine as-is.
only maintenance records with oil changers. the previous owner was meticulous and did it with them as I have been also.

i will take care of smog once i find a buyer.
