FS: 2001 4runner, 112k miles, many mods (Utah)

I wanted a 4runner that I could drive to work every day but still take off-road when the occasion arose, so I built one myself.

This is a 2001 Toyota 4runner SR5 V6 with 112k miles on the clock. I bought it with 95k miles and it has been trouble-free since the day it came into my garage. All services and maintenance up to date and performed by a Toyota certified mechanic. I only pay cash for my vehicles, so I have title in hand.

Here are some of the modifications that have been done to the car in the last six months:

ARB front bumper
ARB rear air locker (w/compressor and accessories)
Warn winch
Old Man Emu 3/2 suspension lift
1" Toytec body lift
Piaa off road lights
Mickey Thompson Classic wheels
Goodyear Wrangler MT/R Kevlars (90%)
4x Innovations Rock Sliders
Optima Battery
Remote car start
20% tint

All told, I've spent nearly $9,000 dollars on new modifications and installation in the last six months. This Runner is an absolute beauty.

There are a couple minor rock chips and one ding on the front left fender where I slipped on some ice and dropped my skis on the vehicle (a bad moment for me), but the paint is super clean for being 10 years old.

Asking $13,500 or best offer.

Please email me at [email protected]. Thanks!!

Again, this car is in amazing shape. I mean literally better than any other 4runner of the same age I've ever seen.

I would sincerely appreciate only positive replies in my for sale thread. It only strengthens the value of your cars if I can get close to my asking price.

Thanks,

Brad

Mine was just totaled and I was original owner and had every receipt, I mean every receipt, original brochure, window sticker, maintenance records, no accidents, etc.

I'll never know what it was worth on the market, but I do know, now that I've been searching daily for a month, that I'll never find its equal. There is no way this is worth more than $10k max in my opinion. If you can produce maintenance records and a clean carfax, and you are interested in making a deal for a realistic price, then shoot me a pm. I've got cash in my pocket burning a hole.

You cant get your $ back on mods... They dont make the car worth much if any extra. I have learned this the hard way myself several times. To the right buyer you might get a little more with the mods. If I sold my 04 V8 Sport with 70k miles I would hardly be asking more than that.

Yeah, its kinda high. No one on the form will agree with that price, but for someone who wants a clean 4r and is too lazy to mod it, he'll get close. It only takes 1. GLWS

Thank you!

I realize you don't get money back on mods. I spent $50k in mods on my 911 Turbo and got probably 30 cents on the dollars when I sold it.

This is the first place I've posted it. There really aren't many super clean 3rd gen 4runners that come through this forum...most are beat to heck.

I guess it's only worth what someone is willing to pay, right? I'll throw it on Ebay and Autotrader in the next few days and see what happens.

Kind of a douche move guys. Just let him put his price and the buyer can deal with that. None of you guys are in the market. Good luck with the sale and your best bet will be craigslist or autotrader,

The ride is really, really nice. Alot depends on how quickly you want/need to sell. I wouldn't get upset about all the barking, just let it ride and if somone is really interested they will contact you. And, btw, you did state obo, so just be patient. Alot depends on how quickly you want/need to sell.

That said, I came here to find a really nice classic 2R or 3R.

Thanks for the help, Moderators.

I realize now that the price is too high, obviously. Things could've been said in a lot classier way about the pricing, no doubt.

Again, if the price is too high, it simply won't sell. No need for personal attacks simply based off an asking price!

True that brotha. Nice truck. If I could afford it right now I would love to make an offer. Good luck
