Is there a problem with the forum? Slow, broken links, failure to load
Hi all,
The forum has been unbearably slow for me for a couple of weeks now. Sometimes pages don't load. When they do, they have broken links (for example, the page I'm using to edit this post has all of the formatting links broken). Is something going on, or is it just me?
Thanks.

I've noticed this, for months it's been slow to load, especially on mobile.
Now sometimes it fails to connect, gives me a "site unreachable". It is never unreachable for a long time, but who knows if that'll stay true. The steady decline in forum performance is concerning.

Very disappointing, makes the forum more of a burden to contribute.
A shame, there is a wealth of information here.

The formatting at this forum is having serious issues.

Agree!! It behaves like it is built for older browsers. I just joined today and not much fun navigating this forum.

Same. I think the admins might be doing some mods behind the scenes and the formatting got messed up. Do they usually post about such things?

I'm on a laptop browser and the site has ALWAYS been ridiculously slow. It takes nearly a minute to load a forum thread with one text post. Sometimes longer.
Would be nice if admin would respond to this thread and tell us what's going on. It's way beyond awful, its almost unusable

The admin of this site has been contacted, it's a wait and see kind of thing.

I have been here for 5 years and though there have been a few times the forum seemed a bit faster it's always reverted back to molasses speed. Garbage to be honest, i really can't contribute at all anymore.
So i joined a 4Runner forum that actually cares: Toyota 4Runner Forum [4Runners.com]

Yep, I just signed up there a couple days ago myself. I'm hoping it actually functions. With all of the great historical information on this website its a shame to see it in this shape. I'm afraid one day it will POOF! and be gone

All of the above here. Like going back in time to the 1990s with slower than average dial up speed (28 kbs).

I agree with all of the posts above. I use to post and learn here a lot but in the last few years the site is unusable.
Every once in a while I come back to check up but it is very painful when every click takes two or more minutes to go thru.

First login in a month because I'm strictly mobile and it's literally not let me login since then
Have been on pretty much every day lurking since I joined
Has always been a little slower loading pages but at least usable until said problem

I have never seen the site so slow as now, nor have I ever gotten Error 522's so many times in a day.
With all of the ad revenue coming in, I would think that we, the users who generate that ad income, should be able to demand that the site owners ether properly maintain it or sell the site to someone that will. This site has SO MUCH INVALUABLE info that it must be kept alive and well!
It's been at least 15 days since the owner was contacted, but nothing has improved. I honestly think that the they are no longer involved, nor do they even care anymore. It's sad...

being in the IT field I am going to speculate it is the hardware, the server that is the bottleneck issue. Old hard drives, old cpu's, old memory, old software, just old everything.
