Well I woke up this morning feeling a little bad about my use of french last night on page 1, but after refreshing my recollection I feel as strongly about it today as I did last night. Scofoc's hypocrisy really chaffs my balls - here's why.
Back in April Scofco posted the following over on yotatech:

|
But then in June he posted the following here at T4R.ORG after someone asked him what happened to it:

And now he has the gall to say he's muttering "WTF" and feels "miffed" at the site of a USA flag on THIS site FWIW I've taken back Scofco's January 4ROTM crown and given it to someone far more deserving - Thai This was solely my decision and neither Thai nor any of the mods had anything to do with it - so if anybody has a problem with it ***** at me and not them.

As for Scofo, Gatorgreg took the words out of my mouth. He's good with his French....
Feel free to ***** on Yotatech too about the patriotism on this site. I am sure that you will receive a "warm" response over there.
Bottom line, this forum is mine and Gatorgreg's. We treat everyone the same...but, unfortunately for Scofo, we are die-hard American citizens.

We need a happy face waving the American flag. Momo do you have the skills to make something like that?

Yep, I can do that, because I live in the United States.
You know, after I posted last night I really didn't give it another thought. I really hadn't even thought about it unitl I logged on this afternoon. Given that I am in Florida staying on one of college buddies, it has really amplified my perspective on this. My wife and I aren't leaving to head home until tomorrow, since it is my B-day, but my friend left about 20 minutes ago to heading to Ft. Benning, in Columbus, GA. His brother is finally coming home from Baghdad. He was in the middle of all the action for the last 13 months. He was wounded about 6 months ago from an attack on his convoy, but he is fine now and coming home. I have never personally met him, but to listen to Jason talk about it, makes you really proud for him.
With all that said, love it or leave it, I am an American and damn proud of it. If you have a problem with it, I'll give you my address and you can come to my house and we can talk about it.

Holy shit, looks like I hit a nerve!
Didn't mean to, honestly. I still love you guys, but I believe in forums being global. I don't give a damn about the flag, it can stay, doesn't affect me at all.
It just went from "A 4Runner Forum" to an "American 4Runner Forum" as soon as I saw it, that's all.
I never intended on replying to your PM GatorGreg, I do appreciate the offer, it was very kind of you.
The T4R logo wasn't suitable for my neck of the woods, I think there are about 5-10 4th gen 4runners here, I don't think any of them give 2 shits about the trucks either (never seem to wash them).
The "Canadian Pride" comment on my current sticker was to encourage anyone locally (not just 4Runner owners) to come on that forum and say Hi.
I never took the sticker off because I hate this place or anything.
Thanks for revoking my 4ROTM honor, whatever reasoning that was behind that I don't know.

That's along the lines of what I was getting at.
Even living way up here, I'm bombarded with American pride. Sometimes it just gets annoying when you keep running into people that feel the need to tell everyone how proud they are in their country.
I'm not trying to be an ******* or burn any bridges.
The graphic is very well done, it looks awesome, I just don't think it was neccessary. Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should do something.

Remind me to shut my mouth next time I feel the need to say something about an American Flag. This place gets scary fast.
I am sorry mates, didn't mean anything as negative as you think I did.
