Nalley Toyota of Roswell, GA

I had a horrible experience at this dealership. My wife and I went to look at a 2011 FJ Cruiser they had. The sales people were nice but rushed me while I was trying to look at the car. They repeatedly asked me to come inside to talk about the price while I was clearly still checking out the car. The sales manager was rude and a jerk. The business manager handling the financing was more concerned about other work she had going on than handling my deal. She left off the sales tax and I had to wait another 30 minutes for her to fix that. She even told me I may get a discount for their mess up which I did not get. After almost a month after the purchase I still had not heard from them about getting my tag. I called the business manager 3 different times and left a voicemail. She never called me back. I finally talked to someone in tag and title who told me that they had done nothing to allow me to get my tag. After I talked to them they finally sent the paperwork for me to get my tag. They sent the paperwork to the state drivers license center instead of my county tag and title. They did not calculate enough sales tax in my deal and now I'm left paying $800 out of pocket in sales tax to be able to register my vehicle. I still have not gotten a tag and the temp tag the gave me has been expired for 5 days now. You would figure someone who just spent the kind of money I did to purchase that car would have gotten a lot better customer service.

I've had similar experiences with all the Roswell dealerships. Toyota being on of the worst. Head on over to the one in Kennesaw. I bought my original 4Runner there and they were excellent.

If I wasn't buying the FJ Cruiser used I would not have gone to Roswell. But they had a 2011 TRD with 20k miles, couldn't beat that. That's why I went there. If I was buying new I would have stayed here in Chatt.

Update:
So I've still been trying to get my taxes worked out and get a tag for the car. I called Nalley trying to find out where the mistake was in the taxes because all this was supposed to be taken care of in the deal. I talked with Michelle Howlan and she was going to see what the mistake was. After several more follow up attempts to call her, I was not able to get in contact with her. I left numerous voicemails on her phone over several weeks and never got a call back. On another attempt to call Monday Dec 2nd I got a hold of her and she said that they made the mistake on the taxes and sent me to Steven Snyder to talk to him. He said that the zip code for my county was put in incorrectly BY HIM for the zip in Roswell instead of my home zip code in Tennessee. He said he was going to look into the issue and call me back that Wednesday. After not hearing from him for a week I called back and he did not answer his phone. I called Michelle and she talked to him and said he was talking to the General Manager and for me to leave him a voicemail and he would call me back. He never called me back. I called today and Michelle sent me to the Customer Service Manager who had an answer. He said that the incorrect taxes were their mistake but I was stuck paying them out of pocket. He and Steven told me that they could not finance them correctly into the deal because it had been too long, even though I had been calling them for weeks to get an answer and no one was calling me back. I explained to him that is why this has taken so long. He said the General Manager was unwilling to help my situation and they were not going to do anything to correct their mistake. They were not going to take a loss in the taxes and didn't even offer me $.01. He did not have an answer as to why my numerous voicemails to Michelle and Steven were never returned.

STAY AWAY FROM NALLEY TOYOTA OF ROSWELL!

So the day after I posted the comments above on yelp.com. The same Customer Service Manager called me and offered to send me a check for $400.
I received it toady in the mail.

It's sad you have to publicly express your problem with them before they offer what they should have in the first place.

The general manager commented on my post and asked for me to call him. Doubt I will get anything from him but I'm going to call him to express my opinion anyway.

I'm going to change my reviews I have left around the internet of them, but only that they finally did pay me $400 of the $747.

I hope you left the negative review up on Yelp. If the GM had no interest in helping you or even returning your call, he deserved to be treated exactly the same.

Yeah, I left it up and didn't change it at all. I also left one on Dealer rater as well. He commented on my review and told me to call him. I haven't yet, really just over the whole thing and dealing with that dealership.
