Thumbs down Priority Toyota (Chesapeake, Virginia)

It has been over a year since I bought my 4runner from Priority Toyota and I still cringe when I think back on the experience.

To make a long story short, we had settled on a price, a good price, on a particular 4runner that had all the options that I wanted which they assured me they could get. When I went to pick up the 4runner, they pulled the bait and switch. I was screwed because I just got rid of my other car and now was left without a vehicle. Since I did not have time to restart the process, I ended up buying one of their 4runners off the lot, not getting the color or the options that I wanted.

In retrospect, I should have gone elsewhere. I was just so frustrated at the time that the thought of haggling with another dealer was enough to prevent me looking elsewhere.

To make matters worse, service from Priority's service department has been horrible. I am literally amazed at the complete ineptitude that emanates from this department. If you do buy a Toyota from Priority, be sure to get it serviced elsewhere.
