We had the most pleasant experience we ever have had taking delivery of e new vehicle at
Heritage Toyota in Burlington, VT..
Granted, it was a lease swap, but it was smooth, no pressure to upsell, no hidden surprises after negotiating via phone and text. Same for when the paperwork was done with the "finance" person by my wife as I transfered stuff from our 2016 Highlander to our new 2019 T4R. The only add they had her do was the gap insurance, no superfluous dealer added bells and whistles like our last lease experience.
We were looking for the bare bones base SR5 in Magnetic Gray, Nautical Blue, or as a last resort, the Barcelona Red, with 3rd row seating. We ended up with Nautical Blue. The upgraded audio would have been nice, but we are perfectly satisfied with the standard audio system.
Heritage Toyota | New and Used Car Dealership Serving South Burlington VT
In addition to the no bull, no pressure deal, they threw in front & rear floor mats. When I mentioned we wanted to get out of there in time to catch the Charlotte, VT/ Essex, NY ferry,
our salesman, Marc Halliday, disappeared for a moment and came back with free ferry tickets, about a $15 value.
The ferry ride was the kick off for a beautiful day for our 3 + hour trip back to our home in N New York state.
The spotlessly clean windshield made taking pictures from inside the T4R possible.
I'm hoping this unit works out to be reliable, reasonably economical, and up to our tow vehicle needs with the occasional off road snowy hunting adventures. If it does, we'll be buying it out at the end of the lease. I've already checked resale values on 3 year old T4Rs 40K-ish miles base models like ours. It is considerably higher than the residual value at the end of the lease.
