Thumbs down Maita Toyota- Sacramento, CA

I bought my 4Runner new from these jokers in March of '08 and am still irritated with them (it is now November). Their Sales Manager is a total clown, rivaled only by their Service Manager who couldn't point out a catalytic converter if someone bounced one off his face.

We went back to this dealership because we had a decent experience buying a fully optioned V6 Camry XLE from them two years prior. We called them when we were ready to buy the 4Runner and told them exactly what we wanted, which existed as only two vehicles in the US at the time, without another one from Japan on the calendar. One of these vehicles was on the East Coast and the other was in Reno, NV, about two hours from Sacramento. They pulled off some sort of trade or purchase from the Reno dealership so that I could buy it from them (Maita) and when the weather cleared and the pass opened, they brought it down and called me to pick it up.

Their willingness to get this thing for me and our salesman's patience as we talked them down to $300 over invoice are about the only positive experiences I have had at this dealership. We have had a number of problems (small but aggravating) with our T4R, and Maita's obstinate and deflecting attitude toward remedying these problems is why I give them three thumbs down. If anyone is in the Sacramento Valley and looking for a good Toyota dealership, I highly recommend Roseville Toyota in Roseville. I don't have any affiliation with that dealership and really don't much care where you spend your money, but I bought an '02 Tacoma new from R.V. Toyota and never had a bad experience with them.

That's where i bought my 2000 Celica GT-S (6-spd) w/ TRD Package, ten years ago. Long story short, they tried to squeeze the last penny from me. After i took delivery and all the keys and paperwork, i took off their license plates off and gave them the . The salesman asked why i took it off, and i told them that the car ain't their car anymore and that they're not paying me to advertise for their dealership.
