suspension dignostics problem
I have 2006 Limited 4runner. I recently replaced both front wheel bearings and hubs. One week after replacement I lifted both wheels off ground and checked. Driver side wheel was wobbling to my surprise when I tried to shake the wheel with hands on 12 and 6 o'clock. Took the truck to the mechanic who did the work. Sure enough the wheel was wobbly, but when the mechanic did spin the wheel while still off ground the wobbling disappeared as if the wheel has settled somehow. I took the truck for drive, i.e. to put a weight on the wheels and then lifted the wheel again to check. It was wobbling again. As soon as I have span the wheel it was wobbling no more. The control arms, bushings, LBJs were checked by mechanic - no problems found. Conclusion made - most probably faulty parts used for replacement of bearings. Any thoughts? Did anyone face the same problem? What could be the other reasons? Thank you
