With those brand(s) you'd have a fairly long life expectancy, especially if you don't off-road or "beat" on it very often. I don't know exact times, as it will always vary depending on a few factors, but I'd imagine at least 5-8 years, minimum depending on abuse.
Many of those are also rebuildable, meaning if you bust one or want to change it, all you have to do is send it in and they can be fixed or rebuilt very easily rather than having to buy whole new shocks/COs.
