I paid for mine on a Friday and I had them the following Friday, but that was from California to Alabama. Since you are close it should be no time. If you are concerned with the knock-offs fogging, you could put a small bead of silicone around the edge. I had planned on doing this but my excitement got the better of me.

Yeah, I emailed the seller after I bought it and told him about me being a member here and that I had heard about the cracks due to poor shipping. I got a very quick response. He said that he would be shipping them better to avoid future damages.

They arrived today! Too bad I had the seller ship it to my brother's place because I thought it was going to take longer for delivery. And my brother wasn't home when UPS brought it by. They're going to try again tomorrow, hopefully my brother will be home. I'll post pics this weekend.

DAMNIT !!!!!

I was just getting ready to install my tails when I noticed that there is a small piece of the corner broken off on one of the lights.
I just emailed him to let him know. We'll see how quickly this gets resolved.

I decided not to send my lights back even though the passenger side was cracked in the corner. I think the way the corner is chipped off allows it to fit perfectly (absolutely no difference from the driver side). Maybe this was a bad decision, but I guess I'll wait and see.

Burtman tails

Burtman has done it. I've been buggin him about the knockoff tails and he said he did something special and it doing them for $145+ shipping. I think it saves ya about $10. He's pulled through for me once again. Once they are gone, the link will be changed on the site, so he said to order while you can. Link to tails is below.

Should I make a new post on this?

Just my opinion, but I'd like to see all the info and posts here. If you want to start a thread to generate some more interest for JasonB then I'd like to see it simply stated and referring to this page. But that's just my preference.

For those with the knockoff JDM lights, or the real JDM lights, here's something that you seriously need to look into getting. As was mentioned earlier in this thread, you can get some amber turn signal bulbs for the rear that have a mirror coating on them. It makes a world of a difference in the appearance of the JDM lights. Without them, you get an ugly yellow/white/yellow/white pattern, and with them, it looks very clean. I ordered 4 bulbs from the source listed earlier in this thread, and received them in a couple days. I installed them this morning, and I went from 80% satisfied with the look of the JDM tails to 100% satisfied with the look of the lights.

Where I live we can't pass inspection with those.

Okay, got my cracked tail light replaced and finally got around to installing them. I like them, they really look nice. However, there still seems to be the issue of the pssenger side not snugging up all the way and leaving about 1/8" gap against the body. I took out the 'ol trusty dremel and made the mounting holes a little larger. Didn't seem to help. Seems to be something else preventing that tail light from being pulled in flush.
Anyway, I still like 'em, they look a lot better than the pinkish ones.

If you look at the pic he has posted on his site, it just happens to be a pic of the passenger side and damned if it doesn't look like there is a gap between the body and light.

I think the pic on his site is from the sets that had the gap problem. I ordered them from him but the new ones with no gap have not come in yet. He said it will still be another week or so.

Well, I finally got my lights fully in. Here is the back story in case you don't feel like going back a few pages.

I ordered a set of black taillights from the group buy. When I received them, the passenger side has a crack in the corner. Other people report having the same issue. David and I correspond and he agrees to send me a replacement set after he receives a tracking number that I sent him the cracked set. The replacement set comes in from David a week later and to my dismay and suprise, he only sent the passenger side. I sent the pair back to him, so I am stuck with only the passenger side tail light. I correspond with him again and he sends me the driver side tail light. I would be lying if I said I wasn't annoyed at how long this took to finalize, but I have to say that David was very responsive to my emails at all times. There was never a LONG delay in getting a response to my emails to him, so I never felt like I was hung out to dry. A+ customer service, even though there was a miscommunication, I still had a good experience dealing with him.

Plus when I got the replacement set, they were both packed much nicer than the first shipment. Hopefully the cracked lenses are a thing of the past...

I have them mounted and they look awesome, but my truck is horribley dirty so I'll clean her up a bit and snap some pics.
