Update: January 6, 2005
Lexus rear fog light switch arrived... but I will not be taking this route as it requires minor modification. I have sourced a switch from the '05 Tacoma line which will have the fog light picture on it. It should be a direct fit with no modifications needed. Cost is about $80CDN for the switch and $5 for the connector pins. I have it on order as of today so it should be here... soon!

The Lexus switch was returned and the Toyota fog light switch is on order. It should be a direct fit. I will have the part number and pictures up once I get it..

anyone think of just hooking them up to two relays that would get a ON/OFF signal from both front daytime driving lights? One relay for the right and one for the left. As the fronts come on so would the rears. As one of the fronts would blink for a turn signal so would the corresponding rear.

Via online currency converter:
$80.38 CDN = $64.0482 US
$4.25 CDN = $3.39 US
Damn, that is an expensive switch!

but I think the Japanese Fog Switch is about half the price. However, you have to wait a while for it to ship and if it comes with any directions they would be unreadable. I wonder if it is the exact same part and if the connector part would work with it too. Thanks for sharing your experience with this switch.

If you don't mind waiting.. i'm sure someone can hook you up with the jdm one... but i'm impatient. It should be all the same connectors.. j ust gotta find your appropriate power source and make sure you seal those housings.
Always happy to share my experiences with my buddies!
