Search Ebay for:

Viper 791XV
Clifford Matrix RS 3.5 or 2.5.

You can get the optional Proximity sensor, Which when someone approaches your car it chirps to warn them away.
There are sooo many different options and accessories to put onto the alarm.

www.directed.com

Best alarm on the market would be the clifford G5

thats really ironic, the neighborhood where i come from, we dont even lock the doors to our house even when i was growing up, there was just no need, people had been living in that neighborhood for 60+ years and no theft or breakins ever. So now that i moved to the beach the habit is still stuck and i always just leave my keys under my seat with out thinking twice about it. no one has ever touched my car. Im not sure if it would help or not(obviously in my case it does) but you can consider tinting your windows. What did they take? because if they saw something nice from the outside then that could have been why they did it. also i dont have an alarm and i was looking at getting one about a year ago and just never got around to it, so up to this point it would have been a waste of money with only the comfort feeling for me. im sorry you had to go through that. the alarms that oball said were deff reputible alarms so go check them out.

thanks, ill look into them. my windows are tinted. well, the back from factory. my buddy's car was tinted too, but i think it was just punks messing around. cuz they didnt take anything but it might be cuz my dog was barking like crazy. dont get me wrong, its a toy poodle, but im sure they thought someone would wake up. hahaha....anyways, thanks for the alarm options....

Best buy's install is included in the price of the alarm. So when you go there, you see the price of the alarm, the price of the install is included with it, except any accessories you need.

too expensive... hehehhehe...

Install on an alarm and keyless entry is usually about 100 dollars.

An alarm, keyless entry and remote start goes up to about 200 dollars.

Check ebay for the alarm, get it and bring it to one of the install shops that are COMPETENT! Not to bad mouth my work, Some best buy's install shops don't know what the heck they are doing. Mine does because I make sure of it.

You can probably get it installed at circuit city also if you needed to.

The viper 791XV is about 570 installed. YOu need a extra key if you do the remote start

The alarm you can get online for about 180. You need the 556U to make the remote start work.

I had the Clifford Matrix RSIII 4 years ago. Same type of alarm. They always go about the 130-190 range on ebay.

In the store... be ready to be screwed over.

I'm just telling honestly. ;)

I've installed a ton of these.

And you are right.... The hardest part is finding a competent installer.

I did my truck 11 pm at night with a flash light. Outside and finished at 3.

In my lifetime of installing I think I've installed over 50+ of these alarms so If you have any questions let me know.

Jack
