I tried leds in rear turn signal. Didn't like it though. 1-Resistors required and 2- Red blinkers look cheap. I know They make em in Amber, but amber LED look almost like regular bulb when lit. Bout those ambient interior lights, I'm still researching it. Mersedes uses them in some of their cars. If I find a link I'll post it here.

buddy of mine was following me today and said my tail light look dim. Taking it as an unbiased opinion ( he didnt know they were LEDs) I think Im gonna go back the the element lights and use my LEDs under the dash

well, sometimes LEDs should mostly be used for turn signals or maybe reverse lights. for brake lights, you would need ALOT since it's the most important light you need at night plus daylight time also.

To use LEDs as brakes lights you either need to do the 06 swap out, like others have done.

Or do a LED retro, like I did using superflux LEDs. Superflux LEDs are made for automotive use, and have a wider viewing angle.

Mine have about 36 LEDs on each side.
