I'm guessing he meant Ty-wraps, cable ties, whatever, I've heard them called lots of different things. Basically you put them around a bunch of wires and put one end through the other (which has a one way clasp inside of it), pull it tight and cut off the excess. Once you pull them tight the only way to get them off is to cut them off with a set of diagnal cutters.

I understand wire ties, use 'em all the time. It just sounded like AlexJet used the wire ties to somehow secure the wires INTO the plug. Maybe I just misunderstood his post.

Thanks spyne, for explanation. That's exactly what I used. Sometimes we called the same things in a different way and this may confuse others.

I chose to buy and install these. They work great for run, brake and turn lights. Wired directly to the tail light harness.
