Question Kicker Bass Station install

I am trying to decide if it's worth trying or not.
Wiring, audio equipment, etc. is not something i have a gift for.
For instance, when I replaced my door speakers I botched the hell out of it
by failing to fabricate adapter plates, or use the OEM ones from the old speakers. (I just found a thread here about that.) I still have the old speakers, so i could redo them.
Anyway, does anyone have experience with the Kicker PT10?
It's a self contained 10" sub with it's own amp.

You will probably still have to run everything like a normal setup. Power from the battery, remote, and RCA from the head unit.

You still need to run all of the necessary wires as if it's a separate amp and sub.

Just to give an idea of a DIY install, it took me about 2 hours to install my amp and sub. Planning and carefully routing the wires under the carpet and out of sight is the hard part. Also I took my time to mount my amp (back of rear seat) and ensure every connection was perfect and secure. There's really only four connections (power, ground, RCA's, and remote). And if you're lucky, your RCA's might already have a remote wire included, so really it's only two wires to run from the front to the back (you ground it close to the amp location). Then run the speaker wires from the amp to the box. (running wires back to the door for the speakers is a chore though)

its a piece of shit.. get a sundown sa8 , itll hit hard and low,big bass small sub, take up nearly no space, and last a long time if you power it properly and take care of it.

Thanks guys. Finally got around to it and added Alpine speakers. Sounds good enough. On to other off-road mods now.
