Subwoofer amp locations in a '97 4Runner

I was just wondering if there were any good spots for a subwoofer amp in a '97 other than under the driver seat or on the subwoofer enclosure. I have a Hifonics Brutus 1000W amp, which isn't too small (it definitely won't fit in the rear cargo compartment).
Also, any tips I need to know about before wiring the sub? I haven't ever had to deal with the firewall in the 4Runner.

Try pinning the amp to the backside of the rear seats.

Thanks, Thai. I had considered doing that, but I still want to be able to fold one seat down in case I need the extra space for cargo (this happens a good bit when I have to move between college and home). I'm planning on having enough space to do that since the box I ordered is 15.75" wide.
