3.4 swap

Looking to do a swap on my 1990. I found a '99 4runner engine with low miles and I'm wondering if the 99 will be worth it. Will I be able to use any parts from my 1990 engine?(i.e. air filter, radiator, power steering, washer fluid) I just need to know what all I should buy with the new motor. Not really asking about conversion parts or the oil pan, but any help or experience is welcome.

I would buy the whole truck, and part out what you don't use. I wouldn't ever want to start a swap I wasn't familiar without an entire truck to pick parts from.

Having a complete donor vehicle at your disposal will make a swap infinitely easier.
There are so many little parts you will need that you can't think of in advance, being able to walk a few feet to get them instead of running to the parts store every 5 min is a major plus.

And no, you can't use your old washer fluid, you need 3.4L washer fluid.
