Update to Navigation DVD

I have been told by Toyota that there is a update DVD for the navigation system, that has been released in the last two weeks, anyone know any information as to what changes have been made, mainly interested in knowing if voice guidance now works on back roads.
I was told the MSRP on the upgrade DVD is $250.
Toyota could not tell me what changes have been made, seems somewhat ridiculous to make a update DVD and have someone spend $250, and not be able to tell them what improvements they are getting.

Most of the time the new upgrades will be like new roads and new POI's.

That is not that bad of a price considering Toyota/GM is charging $500 for the CD Upgrade for the Nav. Systems on the Vibe/Matrix.

I also inquired about the update and here are the responses I received. If you get more information, please post....

Thank you for contacting Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.
We appreciate your inquiry regarding the navigation system on your 2004 Toyota 4Runner.

The 2002 Navigation system upgrade which contains available information valid through June 2002 is what is currently installed in your vehicle. The 2003 upgrade which will contain information valid through June 2003 will be published and available for purchase in December 2003 at your local Toyota dealership Parts Department. The MSRP for the DVD upgrade is $250.00

Here's the 2nd response I received when I requested information about what to expect from the upgrade...

Thank you for contacting Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.
We do apologize; we have yet to release the specifications of the 2003 DVD Navigation Upgrade. The information will be released when the upgrade is released. The upgrade will not be offered at a reduced cost for those owners who purchased an early production 2004 model equipped with navigation. We have no plans to offer information regarding the navigation system on-line.
