Cooper Discoverer AT3 255/75/17

I currently have the Coopers in stock size. I have been looking at the 255/75/17 size for stock suspension. Through all my searching I have found several threads regarding this size, but not this tire. Ive ran the AT3 in stock size for 55k miles and would like to go with the same brand but bigger.

Is there a reason nobody is running the cooper in that size? Most of the threads regarding this size are pretty old so I'm figuring that may have something to do with it.

If anyone is running this tire in that size please leave your thoughts.

Thanks.

Any input? Logic tells me since im currently running this tire in stock size and like it, the 255 will offer same result just a little taller unless im completely missing something?

Well I had them installed today and they. They are rather close, and one the passenger front seems to be a little closer to rubbing (without actually rubbing) than the driver side is. Anyone have a similar experience?

I also noticed 1 wheel has no weight on it. Through google and other means I've found that its not impossible but its not very common. I have also found that you very well may explode and die (one extreme to the other) because one wheel doesn't have weight. The wheel I am speaking of is on the rear. There is no vibration or anything that seems odd so I think all is well. Any objections?

Check out member Chumura's build thread has them but you'll need either 51s adj or better so they don't rub .

Cooper AT3 runs very narrow in the 255/75 size for some reason. I strongly recommend the 265/70 version instead in that particular tire.

Cooper separates out the P from the LT sizes on their website:

Cooper Tire & Rubber Company - Discoverer A/T3?
vs
Cooper Tire & Rubber Company - Discoverer A/T3?

Side profile looks awesome youngr

Do you think you can get a tread width pic? Maybe with the front wheels turned slightly out? That would be awesome. I just ordered these tires yesterday and so far you are the only one with them in this size. Thanks a ton.
