AudioControl Lci6 w/Entune

Hi everyone,

Before selling my truck I purchased a Stealthbox with the 13TW5 in it, a JL 500.1 amp, and an AudioControl LC6i to tie everything into the Ford's Sync system.

I've been trying to sell the Stealthbox for awhile now and still no takers. So I will be robbing it of its sub to put in a smaller self-made box for my 4Runner and just selling the empty box later (shipping would sure be cheaper without all that weight).

Anyways I plan to use the 13TW5 powered by the JL 500.1 amp in my new 4Runner. The first and easiest question I have is does anyone know if the '14's with the Entune w/NAV have preamp outputs in back? I'm guessing no but thought it worth asking.

Has anyone connected an amp to their Entune system? I know I can go the easy way and use line level outputs but I already have the AudioControl module and would like to do it this way to have all the adjustment options. I know for a fact the LC6i would interface well with the Ford and allow me to keep all the steering wheel and voice control options and am hoping the same goes for the Entune system.

Anyone out there use one of these or even JL's CleanSweep alternative?

Thanks in advance!
-Jeff

Anybody?

Ran across a company making something similar to the Cleansweep and AudioControl but specifically for Entune system. It was specifically geared towards Tacomas though and also worked with Tundras, FJ's, and even Camry's. I emailed them to ask why/if there system isn't compatible with the Entune in 4Runners.

Judging from AudioControl's site the LC6i should work fine with the Entune. Afterall, all I'm after are preamp outputs. Just hoping to find someone that has used one of these and get some feedback.

Thanks again,
-Jeff

Got off my lazy butt and called AudioControl today. The LC6i will indeed work with Toyota's newest Entune system. Rep seemed to think they are all the same, no idea if that's true but, there's got to be minor differences between vehicles shouldn't there be?

For anyone looking for something like this, AudioControl has confirmed it WILL work, giving you pre-amps from the stock Entune HU and keep all the steering wheel controls functioning.

Next question is the far worse and involves how to actually remove the dash, get to the HU, and install the module. Figure it prudent to wait till I'm behind the wheel of my T4R before researching that though. Had hoped to buy my rig a in little under 2 weeks but the buyer on my house decided to drop out We're supposed to get up to 10" of snow here in NOVA tonight so I'll get to see how the GX performs.
