leaf removal from rear leaf springs

Ok so I'm looking to get more flex out of my rear springs. They have 9 leafs in them and are heavy duty springs. Can I remove a leaf or to to get more flex? And if so which one or ones should I remove? Also what is the best way to go about doing so? It's a 86 gen 1 yoga 4runner.

Yes you can, but its hard to say how much effect it would have.
Of you have 9 leaves, I think is try removing one of the longer and one shorter.
Like if you consider the longest (main) leaf as #1, I'd try #3 and #6.

You may loose a little ride height in the process.
