Mpg have been decent. Averaging around 16.2-16.4 daily driving. Mix of city and highway. I drove to the lake last night and only managed 15.7 but there was a good wind and cruise was at 79-80 most the way. If I slow it down to 70-75 its much better.

Alex, you still running 40psi? Guy at Discount suggested 43, Guy I had road force balance the tires said 32 (door jam spec). What have you found to be best tire pressure with these for overall comfort, wear, and performance?

I've been keeping it around 40-42psi cold. I tried 45psi and it was starting to feel like it wandered a bit on the highway. At 35psi (spec) mpg's were taking a big hit.

I'm currently debating between the ST Maxx in 255/80R17 and the C-range 255/75R17. Do you, or anyone else, have any experience or comparison between the two? They'll be going on a '10 4R with Toytec Boss kit (and LR UCAs).

Remember that when you calc mpgs you have to factor in the taller tire over factory to get an accurate comparison.
Since the new tire is taller you will end up traveling further with every revolution of the tire. Get the diameter for each tire and divide out to see how much further the larger tire will travel as a percentage - likely 3-4% further-ish.
Don't have the calcs for each tire, but it will likely result in around 1-1.5 mpg difference when calculating using gas used and distance traveled.

I currently run 265x70x17 duratracs and have been looking for 255x80s to get a full 33" tire. However, I live in Boston and drive through some serious snow and shitstorms for half the year.
Anyone have any real world experience with these coopers in snow? Are they good? Can you compare these to the duratracs perhaps (which are GREAT).

We've had an extremely mild winter here in OK, although I'm staring out my window now looking at snow and ice all over the roads. It's been nothing more than a light dusting though. I'll say in what we have had the Coopers have been fine. As far as the real deep stuff though I don't have any experience in that.

hello
Really like the stance of your rig; I'm going with OME (light, don't carry that much weight around with me on a daily basis) w/the S/T Maxx in 255/80 on stock wheels. Question, do you have KDSS? Just inquiring if you have any lean to the passenger side if you do, doesn't look like it in the pics. Also, what psi have you settled on?
Thanks!

No KDSS. No passenger lean. Mine leans slightly to the driver site. I keep them around 38-40 PSI.

Thinking about getting these exact tires.
I have a stock 15 TE, will this size tire fit on my t4r as is without rubbing? Looks like you and others with these have lifts as well.
Thanks

Almost undoubtedly yes. Even with my Boss kit I still rub in certain low speed turning situations like backing out of parking spots etc.

Sorry the response confused me a little. I will rub or will not?

Hello, new to TR4 Board, came over from the FJC Board when I traded for a '15 TE. I love my pizza cutters! I have the 10ply KM2's, purchased second hand. Have them mounted on FJC wheels, so I swap as needed. Just put them on this morning, maiden off road trip tomorrow. The 5th tire fit no problem, and I do have KDSS. I think I will just leave it there all the time.
I really love the look of your rig! I didn't see anyone else comment, but the sidewall design is almost a copy of the wheel spokes. Too cool!

Sorry, yes it most likely will rub without a lift.

Think it would rub to the point that it shouldn't be done?
