They ALL have lines going to the side of the radiator for cooling......but ONLY the V8 had an external cooler after the radiator. The V6 didn't have the external cooler.

V8s have the additional auxilary cooler installed in front of the radiator. V6s do not. Both have a cooler inside the radiator. So there are two on the V8, one on the V6.

I bought the one that CJ3Flyr linked to and I believe boostedprozac installed.
I was just out there for a while trying to figure out how to mount it. I ended up trying to do what Chris did with 3 mount points but mine didn't line up well with the holes provided.
However, in doing so, I tried to put one of the longer bolts that came with the B&M cooler back into the bottom left mounting hole that Chris used and ended up ripping the bolt head off, pretty easily I might add.
So, I need to figure out how to get that bolt out of there now but when I do, any advice on how to install the B&M? I guess I'm looking more for boostedprozac's final setup since I have that exact same one but all advice is appreciated!
I'm going to have to cool off on mods for a little after this one, my girlfriend is getting annoyed with how much time and money I'm spending on my t4r recently.

I bought and installed the B&M Cooler that CJ3Flyr recommended as well. I installed mine in a similar place to where he installed his, but i just used some self-tapping metal screws and lock-washers and drilled through the frame in front of the radiator beneath the horn. I've had it mounted there for a couple of months now and nothing has come loose and I've had no issues.
Here are a couple of pics.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the pics.
I took the lower grill out so the drill could fit and tried to drill and tap the bolt I ripped the head off of but it didnt work.
I gave up on that for the time being and decided to drill some holes in the cross and vertical bars for install. They were a tad bit too small for the bolts so I put on a bigger drill bit and widened them to the right size. On the LAST hole, the bit busted through with too much force and put a hole in the AC condenser
So, as I was getting the feeling of "wooo almost done!" the condenser got a hole and started spraying out fluid. It was awful, especially since its just starting to heat up and I'll need the AC soon! That and I dont think I can afford to fix it yet.
Needless to say, I'm giving up on the cooler until I fix the condenser but at least the holes are there for when I get back to it!
spraying out:
better angle of hole in vertical bar lined up with hole in condenser:

pull the condenser and take it to a radiator/muffler shop- they can fix it for like $50 its a easy fix and no need to replace it

I read on yotatech and some other forum that if you put a hole in the fins (like I did) there's nothing you can do and to seal it up until you replace the condenser. Either way, I'd love to hear your feedback but to not take this off topic, here's the link to my dedicated thread (I'll be adding a write-up when I get it done)
Replacing AC Condenser suggestions

So from what I have read you guys came off the bottom of the factory rad/trans cooler and went into the secondary cooler then back to trans line. Correct. So the top line going into the rad is where the hottest fluid would befor a trans temp sensor. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks,

That's where I'd put a temp sending unit for a gauge, on the line flowing TO the cooler which seems to be the top line (it was on my '07 V6).

Has anyone on here with a V8 added a larger trans. cooler and converted the existing trans. cooler to a power steering cooler? I was thinking of adding a larger one and the existing power steering cooler (just a simple single metal line) runs right by the factory cooler. I think it would be easy to tie the factory cooler into the power steering line. Any thoughts?

Trans cooler installation detailed instructions with photos
Just like all of you, I attempted to find instructions for trans cooler installation, and just like you - failed miserably. There are a few advices but I didn't like any of them. Here is my solution:
