Problem with stock speaker

I am having some trouble with my 6.5 stock speaker in the driver door. Sometimes it will have audio output when I start up the 4runner ('99) and sometimes it won't. Also, it may randomly cut out when the car hits a large enough bump in the road. When I hit the speaker with some force (no audio output) it sometimes fixes this problem, but there is a chance of it cutting out again. I am very sure it is only the speaker down by the pedals because it is the only one that "pops" and statics when there is no sound.

Also, I have removed the door panel and looked at everything, and nothing down there looked loose whatsoever.

It is one of two things: bad wire or bad amp channel. Since you can hit it and restore audio, then you can bet on which one it is. If you cannot find the bad connection, then run a new from the speaker to the HU.

I would also inspect the tabs/speaker connections on the speaker itself. These are not common to go bad but you never know. Follow the wire from where it is glued to the speaker as well.

I just got the 4runner about a month ago. I am able to remove the door panel to inspect the speaker, but once I get there I dont really know what to look for. All the connections seem to be perfect and nothing is loose down on the door, but I don't know where else to look. Please help! Thanks

Also, one wierd thing, is when the car leans in a turn to the right (turning sharply left) the audio will come back and won't quit until the car is turned off. Later when the car is started, there won't be audio until the same thing happens. I just dont get it
