Having had a couple flats in the last year, my experience is that both vehicles' stock-sized spare tires were running low on air anyways. So, it's just prudent, IMO, that our vehicles have a tire compressor on board. My plan is to run a rear tire carrier with larger tire, but on-board air is a necessity.
