Steering Controls on the Right Side of the Steering Wheel

Has anyone here figured out a way to add switches to the right side of the steering wheel. I searched and all I could find was the thread about adding a mic to navigation. I just got some Hella 500s and I would love to just add a simple switch to the right tray on the wheel. Thanks

Those switches would also be great for the cruise control, ala Ford.

I guess the only way to get stock switches is to buy the replacement parts of another vehicle. This means that you would only have the standard mic switch, and phone rocker switch. I guess Im just going to drill a hole in the blank spaces, insert a switch, and run wires through the steering wheel.

Now that would be nice, I'm always messing around with the current cruise control setup because of the awkward location of the control lever. Aftermarket are you listening? Wishfull thinking.

I like the cruise control implementation. It was the same design as my 93 celica.

I ordered the right side switches from Partznet...Talk to Tom...I ordered them for about $100 I think. You need the switches and a ribbon cable. They fit and work perfectly. The ones I have are made for a 2006 Limited so the LEDS are the same amber color.

Do you by chance have a part number. Are these switches for the phone operation or something else?

yeah those are the switches for the phone and voice command.
if you are looking for the part # it's:
84244-35030-B0 (the -B0 is for the stone gray color). if you need the tan color, you can call and ask.
I ordered mine from Toyotaoemparts.com and it was $57.00
