5 tire/wheel rotation, buy TPMS?

I am buying 5 full size tires and aftermarket wheels, I have always done that and done 5 tire rotations. I have never had a car with TPMS though, should I look at getting another sensor or will that be more than just doing a 4 tire rotation and keeping a fresh spare. Not very familiar with TPMS. Thanks for any suggestions!

Not familiar with 5th gens (as in your sig), but I remember guys saying you don't get a full size spare to begin with, so I'm leaning on there not being a 5th TPMS the receiver will pick up. You might be able to get away with running 4 sensors even though your 5th wheel won't be sending a signal.

Or run no sensors at all. Just block the idiot light. On my Acura's, TPMS going off messed with functions like traction control. Again, not sure if Toyota's do anything like that.

TPMS are for the lazy anyways. Get out and manually check your tire pressures periodically.
