265/70/18 Tires

Hey all,

I'm running 5100s with FJ coils and 1.25" Spidertrax on my 2008 4R. I'm looking at putting some new tires on, and the 265/70/18 really caught my eye. It's a 32.61" diameter tire, and I'm curious if I could fit it given my lift? Has anyone run these tires in general? I don't have any problems with moving the liner forward and trimming because I know I'll have to anyways.

TBH one of the biggest draws to the 265, other than the size difference, is that I can purchase 5 for about $400 less than the 255s, believe it or not.

I've done a lot of research already, and found that the 255/70/18 (32.06") fits no problem, but haven't seen anyone run a 265/70/18 with my setup.

Thanks for your help. I'd like to purchase these things soon.

Jonathan

Old post now, but did you figure out an answer?

I'm about to put a set of 18" Fuel wheels on my 5th gen, and I'm looking at 285/65R18 and 265/70R18, both the same height, but the 265's are only 10.4" wide, compared to 11.2" wide on the 285's.

My thoughts are that the 265's would not rub as much since they aren't as wide.

Is anyone running either of these 2 tire sizes and can give some feedback?
