When I bought my "06" V6 runner sport I was less then thrilled with the stock "Dunflop" tires so I decided I would run them threw the summer and change them out before the snow flies.
I went back and forth on what tires to buy ???? I thought about snows but I do 40K per year and I did not want to wear them out in 1 season so I decided to get a good A/T tire.
I have owned many A/T tires over the years from BFG's to REVOS and many other's in between. The problem that I have is I wear them out so fast and they cost so darn much.
So a friend of mine told me to try some Mastercraft Courser A/T's made by cooper mastercrafttires.com so here are my findings.
First I must say this tire is quite good in the snow and no it does not have the Mountain on the snowflake on the side. (I have owned many M-on the flake tires that flat out stunk in the snow). They are not bad in the rain, not the best I have had but not the worst either. They are fairley quiet for an A/T and are quite stable at speed. They seem to wear quite well I now have aprox 18K on them. And now for the good part I paid $ 118.00 ea. inc. mount and ballance for size 265/65/17.
I just thought I would share my findings ........
