Wheel Balance - Acceptable Road Force Limit?

I've been reading threads here, talking to mechanics and reading online and can't get a definitive answer to this.

Some say if it's over 15 pounds you will feel it on the highway while others say 25-30lbs is the acceptable limit.

I just had my wheels rebalanced for the 6th time (this time using the finger plate as my local Toyota dealership recommended) and the ride smoother than it's ever been, but not perfect.

three of my tires were roadforced at 10-13lbs, one of them was 18lbs, it's currently mounted on the rear passenger side. Don't know if it's the culprit or not (I will try and mount it up front to see if the steering becomes shaky)

What do you guys think?

I heard under 10 is excellent and under 20 is acceptable, anything over you will feel the vibes in seat or steering wheel. More so if you have wheel spacers. I have all mine at 18 and I can definitely feel some very minor vibration but I can live with it. Lowering the PSI btwn 28-30 does help some, as well as riding on winter tires with soft rubber.

Subscribed for more info. My first road force balance numbers were 32-34 for three tires and 60 for the fourth - on my way back to the shop to re-balance tonight in hopes of better numbers.

(At first I thought they told me numbers in in-lbs, not ft-lbs...)
