BFGoodrich makes the stock size (5th Gen) 265/70/17C KO2 in the standard type with white letters one side and black on the other. They are part number 66255.

They also make part number 10892, which is the same tire but black lettering on both sides. I confirmed this via the chat feature on BFGs website, and was told the all black ones are a Jeep OEM tire.

I've been running white letters out on mine for the last 45k miles and it's a pain to try to keep them looking not horrible. I don't clean my 4R very often and the white letters are about as non-functional as it gets.

I also dislike when you can see the white letters on the inside of the tires, and on 5th Gens you can see that pretty much from all angles since they sit so high. That's the reason I ran white out to begin with. I know it's silly but I notice things like that. On my next set I'd much rather have an all black tire.

My question is - has anyone here purchased the all black letter model?

Confused on why it matters.
