General X3's- whos running them?

I got Hankook Dynapro ATM's last year, they've been great but I keep looking at those General X3 and wonder how well they work on our 3rd gen rigs?

I'd be getting the 265-75-16 load range C tires if I go for it.

I have been running them since last spring in that exact configuration. I changed from General Grabber AT2's in the same size but load range E.

One of my main motivations for the change was to go from load E to C and I can happily say it made a big improvement in the balance of the truck. E (at least the AT2's) was just too stiff no matter what psi I ran.

I am a novice at best when it comes to the off-road world and tire selection but I am very pleased with how they perform both on and especially off road. I have only ever been limited by my own skill. Not the tires. The sidewall design is also a big upgrade over the AT2. No issues with regular day-to-day like rain and snow.

Road noise is certainly noticeable but I don't mind it nearly as much as I thought I might.

No trouble balancing either. I think I have about 5000 miles on them and the majority of that is street driving.

From an aesthetics standpoint, the tread looks bad ass. The tread block is on the narrow side so even though the indicated size is the same I do think they are a little narrower looking than the AT2. I ordered mine with the red lettering but ended up putting it on the inside because it was kind of lame looking.

I ran the AT2 and loved them. They wore out so I got the X3..... more aggressive but they work just fine. i am very happy with them. Off road at least 3 times per month year round. NEVER any problem with them. General is the only off-road tire that I have ever had so I dont have any knowledge of other tires other than what friends have but I have gone places that they have trouble with ......

DO it you wont regret it
