Mickey Thompson ATZ P3
Looking at these in a 295 Anyone running them? Not really much in terms of reviews online, at least not that I've found.

@ 2016 4Runner SR5
I'm running them in a 315/70R17
My favorite tire I've ever ran (out of about 6+ different brands). I've also had their original MTZ's and they were amazing, lasted forever. The ATZ P3 has all the tech and details I wanted in an aggressive hybrid a/t. I'm also in love with the tread pattern. They seem to be lasting a while, which is nice. I think they have some kind of 45k mile warranty, too.

To add to this thread, the ATZ P3 have over-delivered. I now have 2,000 miles, including 3 moderate, 2 easy trails, and 1 dirt road. Put them in early March, so limited use so far given the pandemic.
There are no surprises off-road, but on road, the ATZ P3 are amazingly smooth, at least with a stiff suspension. I continue to be surprised at how comfortable these LTE tires are. With 650lb front springs they are actually more comfortable on road than P metric Wildpeaks (the latter were great with 600lb springs). The 4R rides nicely even at 40 psi. Airing down for most dirt roads is not necessary, especially with an empty backseat. So comfort is the revelation here.
Performance wise, no issues. I did not have problems stopping in heavy rain.
Off-road, have not yet been in very soft terrain where the ATZ P3 should do better than the Wildpeaks; we will see. In mixed desert terrain, performance is the same, but the ATZ P3 is much stronger.

I have these in 265. Lost 1 mpg over the stock Nitto's but am blown away by their tread capability in mud. And they look awesome too.

Did you eventually get these tires? I am contemplating them 100% in a 285/70 format. I am a diehard fan of the KO2's but then I saw the ATZ P3's and I think these are the ones... can you share more pics and overall experience, thanks.

I got my Mickey Thompson tires from 4WheelOnline at a discount. I'm very pleased with the tires' performance because it exceeded my expectation when I drove my truck on rough roads.

I've had 2 sets of Mickey Thompson tires which was 2 too many. They are made of a harder rubber which gives them a long life, BUT on wet streets they are a hazard. They felt like skates. I once slid sideways into a curb and broke the lips off 2 wheels in the process. I'll never buy them again.

That's interesting b/c I found the stock Nitto's to be terrible for either dry or wet pavement braking.

Mickey Thompson ATZ P3
This will be the 4th year I am running them in the winter.
These tires are great in the snow/ice/rain.
No complaints from me.
Have not had any issues with them in the rain.

I now have 8,000 miles on the ATZ P3. Still phenomenal on and offroad. Still very surprised about the road performance.
I don't think they will become the first set of ATs to last me beyond 30k, but that's me. The desert eats tires.
