Pioneer AVIC-Z1

I'd like to get some ideas on where ya'all have placed the microphone for Bluetooth and voice recognition with the Pioneer Navi unit. My original spot was drilled into the face plate but people couldn't hear me so well. I need to relocate, any thoughts?

I have the Z1 and installed the mic in the upper left corner where the pillar, windshield and headliner meet. I ran the wire up the pillar and slipped the mic clip into the edge of the headliner. I have done the Bluetooth update and have the phone sound coming out of the passenger side tweeter. I have no problems at all with echo or sound. Works like a charm.

Any chance you can snap a quick pic for me? I'm guessing the Bluetooth update is on their site also?

Thanks!

As for the BT update. I downloaded and burned it from www.AVIC411.com. Just do a search it's there. Hope this helps.
