V6 vs. V8 Radiator and Fan
Does anyone knows if V6 and V8 Radiator and Fan are interchangeable?
Did anyone swapped the components? I'm assuming that provisions should be the same.

Seems like the top hose is on different sides, v6 is passenger side.

both have 206K miles; 2005 V8 vs. 2000 V6; Same price...
Both clean as a whistle, but the 2000 might be a tad better; service records are are OK for the both; what to do... what to do... ?
Longtime lurker here, first time poster. I've been an FJ forum guy for 11 years, but my 'Fat Jack' got wiped out in accident 2 weeks ago and I've decided to go the 4R route. Would have started a new thread but can't figure out how to.
I'm leaning to the V8, but as I understand from reading over here, they may be a bit more finicky if service hasn't been done. I know the V8 had a water pump and 'probably' a new serpentine belt in 2013. Not sure about the V6, although it looks brand new and I can't believe someone would keep it so clean and not service it.
Thoughts appreciated.

If you have a line on a 2005 V8 4Runner that's the same price as a 3rd gen, that's a steal of a price unless like you said, there's a problem brewing. They are still great engines though.

Thread has been started to discuss differences between v6 and v8 radiators and fans and interchangeability

As mentioned no they aren't interchangable.

Derek, do yourself and all other members a favor and DON'T high jack someone topic to ask your questions, get your post count up to meet the requirement of around 15 so you can start your own topic and you will get more help and support from others!!
There are several topics you can post such a question in the 4TH Gen section without high jacking the topic until you get your post count up.
