Shocks - Recommendations Needed

I have this reoccuring issue of bottoming the rear out, especially when I have a few people, towing and gear. Any recommendations on new shocks that may correct the problem. Are adjustable air shocks the answer? Thanks guys. Taking the father-n-laws 26 ft boat on a family vacation in a few weeks and I know we'll be loaded down. However, I'm always concientious of the GVWR.

Your issue has to do more with your springs rather than your shocks. If your going to be carrying a lot of stuff I would go with stiffer springs, I'm not sure about the 4th GEN 4runners but for the 3rd GEN, Old Man Emu (OME), makes springs for different applications. They will end up giving you a lift in the back, so you might want to even it out in the front as well.
Shocks is not your problem, its the springs, so look into what options are out there for 4th GEN stiffer springs.
