Yup, if they are E load that's another story.

SL in stock size should balance perfectly and if they don't, then maybe complain and ask for replacement.

I cannot tell they are AT tires on pavement and I have been driving on AT tires for 10 years on one vehicle and street tires on another.

In fact, the performance tires on our Subaru are less civilized than these AT tires in terms of comfort.

If anything, they're only (slightly) quieter above like 35 psi or so. Maybe I'm just expecting too much from an aggressive A/T tire haha.
It's just that these things are a good amount louder than the Cooper AT3's I was running before so I was kinda shocked.
Thanks for the feedback. Yea for me Im not noticing a lot of noise. Im just feeling a lot of vibration where my feet are driving

So I took mine back in to get balanced. Apparently the balancing wasnt the issue so to speak.

They found that one of my calipers was leaking brake fluid and was likely frozen with a warped rotor.

Due to the leaking brake fluid, the weights on one of the wheels came off

If I had the time and didnt need it tomorrow morning, I've done it myself, but $900 later, everything is running fairly smoothly for me

OP,
I don't have experience with Falkens, but I do have Nitto Ridge Grapplers which do sound like really quiet MTs when on smooth ashphalt roads. Like you, I'm able to hear the tread blocks hitting the road surface when coming to a stop. Have you run your hand over the tread to feel for flat spots/irregular wear?

I have AT3/W in E 285/70-17 and they are quieter that the POS OEM tires I had for two years... or is just me getting old
