285/70/17 FLAT TIRE, riding on spare 265/65/17

I got my 285's mounted over the weekend and one of them just went flat on me on a road trip. I'm still ~300 miles from home. The spare is on the front passenger side, it's a 2005 AWD v8. How safe is it to drive this home?

Read this Why Is a Car's Spare Tire Smaller than a Normal Tire? - The News Wheel. It's common for cars to come with a compact spare differing in diameter. Prolonged use can lead to misalignment and poor handling. Says not to attach a smaller spare to the drive axle.
Your 265 isn't that far off from a 285. Drive it a few miles and if it feels okay, keep going. I have the same setup on my 5th gen with 285 Ridge Grapplers and the 265 B-stone for a spare.

I carry a tire repair kit and have used it a couple of times. Buy one and keep it in the truck for next time. Get it fixed at a shop before driving 300 miles.

I ended up driving it carefully to the next town over, about 25 miles. I thought it was just the valve stem but the tech at the shop didn't even think that was it. Filled it back up and put it back on, drove home. *shrug*
