Cold air intake for a 2019
I have 2019 TRD ORP. Is there a consensus on the best CAI for it? I added an AirRaid on my 99 Limited, so I figure I’d try a CAI on the 19.
I like the looks of the TRD CAI but where do I order it? And I’d there another brand I should look at?
TIA

None of them do a whole lot. Marginal HP gains, unlikely any MPG gains. With that said, I went with the TRD intake. Quite when cruising, throaty when you get on it, and I did notice a power increase. More so after the exhaust install.

Save your money for something more exciting that you don't already have. Suspension? Armor?

I freaking love my AFE Momentum GT, great design and has a HUGE filter. I got mine on a black friday sale since it is on the pricier side

+1!!
I use the AFE Momentum GT as well with the Pro Dry filter. I just pop out the filter, hit it from the inside with low low pressure compressed air, run my Shop Vac over it, and it's good to go!

Another thumbs-up for the AFE Momentum GT! You'll get/feel the most gains when you pair it with a hi-flow exhaust like a Bolra, etc... I would do both again in a heartbeat...

I could care less about TRD cache, one of the many reasons I bought an SR5 Premium over the TRD Pro I was originally looking at

And I guarantee that my AFE Intake, URD MAF Calibrator and Borla Cat-Back far outperform and sound better than the loud ass TRD parts

I like the TRD CAI. It is quiet when going normal speeds. Stomping the pedal to get to highway speeds sounds ridiculously aggressive given how slow the truck is, but it puts a smile on my face every time.
I also have it paired with a pedal commander on Sport 3, which makes it come alive a little more often.
Added bonus, it's a Toyota part. I feel like for resale, people get nervous when they see after-market stuff in the engine bay, so there is that.

You missed the point bud
It’s the price point thing versus performance
Mike
Also you could have bought a Subaru and still be cool
