Well, i called VOLANT a few weeks ago and they are supposed to send me a final product.... they did tell me that you can't buy directly from VOLANT, you'll have to go through a dealer that carries their product... performance gains? i did notice a big difference in gas mileage.... believe it or not, i was the biggest skeptic... but driving all over california and hawaii.. i do notice 2mpg difference on the highway....

That thing is beautiful! Your 4runner is a beauty too!  :drool: I emailed volan about the CAI for the V6 so hopefully they'll email me back about it soon. I gotta say there are some really nice 4runners on here.

Still not in production!
Well, I just talked to Volant, and it looks like they won't be making it for a while . I guess I'll have to go with the K&N system and make my own enclosure for it.

Blocked off
The K&N system is blocked off via the hood and the bottom of the fender when you close the hood, it only takes in air from the same places as the voliant, its just a little louder under acceleration. You wouldn't have to make your own enclosure unless you wanted it to be a little quieter.
