Volant Cold Air Intake
I recently called Volant to see if they were coming out with a Cold Air Intake for the '03 4Runner and hopefully in a month they will have one. They have ones for the 4.7 Tundra and Sequoia but the box is up a little further so basically they just have to make changes to the tube entering the engine. They are presently trying to obtain a test vehicle, either '03 or '04 to fit it. I just figured i would mention it so there is another option to the K&N FIPK. They look like nice systems.

With them being fully enclosed, I would venture a guess that you could use them with the supercharger kit from TRD as well, a DEF ++++

Volant is located in CA. Not exactly sure where but if anyone located in CA with an '03 or '04 would like to be the test vehicle I am sure they could set something up. Since when i talked to them they were in the process of finding a test vehicle, they asked where I was located but since I am in NY it is not possible for me to do it. If anyone is interested in the intakes i would say call them and see if they want to set it up.

Awesome, the sooner they get a test vehicle the sooner they will have it. I hope it performs well too. I figured I would ask here since when i talked to them a week ago they were still trying to get a test vehicle. I would love to have done it but i am a bit far...lol. Let us know how it turns out

Volant Air Intake System
Sorry,
I pick my truck up tomorrow. They said it takes about a month or two to finalize the system. They told me it's going to be pretty nice. I will let you know more as soon as I get more info.

Any update? I sent Volant an email but never heard back. Guess they are just one of the many companies who post an email address on their site but never check it.
