New beats, or should i say improvement

I have a 2011 runner non JBL trail edition. I am no expert audiophile but i appreciate good, clear and crisp sound/ music. Gone are the days when big bass is a must. Still have my 350z with 2 10w3v3, JL components in front, rear coax, alpine head unit and class D 5 channel amp.
For this project clear, crisp and quality is the goal. This project will take time as part of the staff that needs such as deadening and sub enclosure will be done by me. Between 3 boys and work and running errands for wifey, time is limited.
I started planning a few months ago. To date, i have done sound deadening on the rear cargo space except the roof. Now i am making my own sub enclosure and it will be housing a JL 10TW3-D4. Picture below. I’ll updating this thread as the project progresses.
Head unit: between alpine or pioneer.
Speakers: - front component with 3 way speakers JL, focal, or hertz undecided
- rears coax. Undecided
- cargo coax undecided
Amps: between JL or audio control. DSP processors.

How much airspace are you getting? I'm doing a build in mine. Currently doing the front stage, but I have been looking at a similar subwoofer build.

If i calculated it right i should be getting 0.56 cubic ft. The JL recommends 0.50 cu ft of volume for the 10tw3. Everything is on hold right now. Hopefully by june or july will be finished with everything.

Well, I'm glad you are. It's a tutorial for me, but after that, now I'm wondering what I'm getting myself into.

Looks good brother. Too bad couldn't move sub a little lower and to the right with no panel trimming. Some nice components you bought. What dsp do you plan to run?

Yeah tried to avoid cutting trims, but being my first time playing with fiberglass, i am okay with it. I'm.going to stick with with JL RD900/5 amp for now. If i still need DSP, will just add it in the future.

Very nice. I just finished my sail panel tweeter pods. May not start my sub till the fall. I'm looking forward to seeing your box installed.
