Need help with my suspension tire choice

I will finally be modifying my silver 2018 sr5. The tires I plan on using are Mickey Thompson Baja atz p3, probably 265 70 17. The lifts, I'm a little confused. I was considering Wescott Designs spacer lift he designed, it uses the original shocks and fits a 285 with no issues, or the eibach stage 1 pro truck lift. Wescott Designs is 3 inches and eibach is 2.5.

I would off road but not extreme trails and rarely.

For wheels I was getting the gunmetal trds because they are 5 pounds lighter than stock wheels and easy to get.

Please advise

Did you eventually buy that tire? I haven't tried to run a set of Mickey Thompson Baja before but it has decent reviews online. I currently use Dick Cepek tires and Fuel Matte Black Hostage wheels on my truck.

I can't wait to hear about your experience with MT Baja tires.

I haven't bought anything yet. I am waiting on the wheels, but, I am looking at the yokohama x-at, also. It's basically between the x-at, MT atz p3 and the ridge grappler. It really depends if I lift or not....still debating.

If I don't lift I was going with yokohama x-at because the 265 70 is 32 inches tall, according to their site and has great reviews, except mud, but it isn't snow rated. I'm in Phoenix so I don't if I really need that.

If I lift it would be the other two but the MT is one pound heavier than the RG. I've read good and bad reviews on both so it's difficult to know what to believe. I do know the MT has the same sidewall as the St Maxx tire, which is good.

I am getting E load, regardless.

Question? Any personal experience in purchasing and using Bilstein shocks? I heard some good stuff about this brand, they are affordable but offers the same performance with other leading brands.

I bought the Toyo AT3 P285 70r17. I asked for LT tires but they put the P version. It feels great and rides great. I have no complaints. I really don't off road so the tire is fine, and if I did anything it wouldn't be an issue. I do have the 45 day 500 mile return but I don't think I will be using it. These are responsive and quiet.

I was most concerned with weight, wheels and tires. With the FN Wheels and the P version I am one pound lighter per wheel/tire than stock.

The ride is so much better than before. I settled on 32 pounds psi after the chalk test. I did go with Westcott Designs lift to keep the original suspension, which I like.

If my wife was in to off road I would have gotten the yokohama g003, more than likely, because my needs would be much different. I would be seriously off roading but I'm not going without her.

Based upon this statement, I'd say don't bother with a lift. If you just have to do something with the suspension, maybe get some 5100s and level the front, but you aren't going to need much of anything.

I got the lift done at the same time as tire and wheel install.
