265/65/17 on a 8.5" wheel

I wanted to see if anyone is running this setup, preferably on a 4th gen.

My plan is basically to use my new Grabber AT2s (less then 3k miles) on a set of Method MR316 (17x8.5 0 offset). I found a guy with a 5th gen but on 265/70s. I was hoping someone with a 4th gen might be running a 8.5" wide wheel on stock-sized tires. Thanks.

I don’t know anyone with the setup you’re asking about, but according to Tire Rack, the Grabber AT2 in 265/65/17 fits 7.5-9.5 inch rims. In fact, they say the 265/65/17 tire is for a measured rim width of 8 inches, so you’re only a half inch wider.

You should be fine.
