Strut/Shock absorber price is big jump from trail to limited

I don't understand why the front (I didn't look at the rear yet) strut/shock absorber for SR5 is $170, for Trail is about $200. But for Limited, it way up to $430 and it is after discount. Some places even sells for $500-$600. I am not talking about 2 struts, I am talking about just one strut, either left or right.

Shocking surprise. I didn't feel a big difference of ride between SR5/Ttail/Limited on the 2010 module.

X-REAS

How the X-REAS Suspension System Works Off Road & On Road | Toyota - YouTube

It's a four corner linked hydraulic pressure stabilization and compensation system. The rears are going to be expensive too. Standard equipment on Limited trim only.

When that system is ready to be replaced, many Limited owners choose to tear the system out and install an aftermarket shock and spring setup.

I have the X-REAS system on my 2007 Limited and it is still working as designed. I have had no leaks from any of the shocks/struts. I will be removing the entire system in order to install the new 5100/ FJ spring lift. It seems a shame to just cut it out and toss it in the garbage when Toyota charges such high prices for these components. If I decide to remove it in such a way that all components can still be used I thought I would post it in the FREE section if anyone wants to pay the shipping.
