This has been a HUGE problem for GPS owners...
Like the article states, the one and only best way to not have it stolen is to remove it (mounting / suction bracket included) and put it either out of sight, or take it with you...
I'm actually really glad they made a statement about the "steal me rings" being cleaned....allot of people DO take out their GPS but leave the residue of the suction cup on the windshield, its like a bulls-eye for theifs. If people see that, they know there is about a 85% chance that you just threw it in the glovebox..
