I have a set of Cooper Discoverers that came with the truck, they are actually not bad on rock or loose dirt when aired down. They are also fairly quiet on the road, I did not have them since new, however.
The.Coopers have a more aggressive tread block than the Wildpeak AT3 and better sipping and I am considering a set in 255/80 R17 but all tires in that size are E rated.
Tire choice really depends on purpose and weight/load and speed in my experience
